fig.20 Main Dialog Box


[ Loading File ]
Clicking "Open File" (fig.20-#2), any kind of file (supported by DataManEx) can be opened from the main dialog.
The dialog box for edit/display can be displayed according to the file type (table.1).

[ Option Settings ]
Click "Memory / Setup" button (fig.20-#1) to display the Option Dialog (fig.21).

The following operations can be done on the Option Dialog.

#1 Selecton of Language (fig.21):
The language to display on DataManEx can be selected.
(For displaying JAPANESE correctly, it is necessary that the Japanese font is installed on your PC.)

#2 Selection of Use/Unuse Registry (fig.21):
Select if DataManEx uses registry or not.
If "Do not use" is selected, a dat file, which is for saving application's settings, is created on the directory on which the "DataManEx.exe" exists.
And if "Use" is selected, relation of the data files and DataManEx are established, and their icons are changed (icons will be refreshed after restarting OS).
The default setting is "Do not use".

#3 Clock Adjust (fig.21):
The clock of DVD-V8000 can be adjusted.

#4 Help (fig.21):
HTML help (this file) can be displayed (note).
And, help can be displayed by typing the F1 key too.

(note) If help file does not exist in the same directory as the execution file,
help cannot be displayed.
And, the environment that can display the HTML file is necessary to refer to help.


#5 Version Info (fig.21):
Version information of DataManEx can be referred to.

#6 OK (fig.21):
This dialog will be closed with settings valid.

#7 Cancel (fig.21):
This dialog will be closed with settings canceled.


[ Clock Adjust ]
Click "Clock Adjust" button of the option dialog (fig.21-#3), to open the dialog box for DVD-V8000 clock adjust (fig.22).

#1 Calendar (fig.22):
Year/Mounth/Day can be selected.

#2 Clock (fig.22):
Clock can be inputted as [Hour:Munite:Second].

#3 "Set" (fig.22):
The date/time inputted onto the controls(#1, #2) will be sent to DVD-V8000.

#4 "Current System Time" (fig.22):
Current system clock of the PC will be sent to DVD-V8000.
The date/time inputted onto the controls(#1, #2) will be ignored.
