--- Sending RS-232C Command (Command Send Monitor) ---
Using "Command Send Monitor", commands can be programed and sent to DVD-V8000.


[ General Procedure ]
(1) Connecting with DVD-V8000, click "Command Send Monitor" button (Fig.2-#3).

(2) "Command Send Monitor (Fig.3)" will be displayed.
So write commands onto the edit-box (Fig.3-#1), or open command file from your PC.

(3) Send the commands to DVD-V8000.

(4) If necessary, save the written commands onto your PC.


[ Edit ]
#1 Commands (Fig.3):
Write commands here.

#2 "Clear All" (Fig.3):
All of written commands and returns will be cleared.

#3 "Insert File Path" (Fig.3):
The path of selected file can be inserted to the edit-box (Fig.3-#1).

Besides this, general operations such as "Copy" and "Paste" can be done by right-clicking.
And clicking "Command List" button (Fig.3-#12), the "command list" can be displayed.


[ Save/Load ]
#4 "Open" (fig.3):
Command file, which was saved as .csm or .txt format, can be opened.

#5 "Save" (fig.3):
The written commands can be saved as .csm or .txt format file.


[ Sending Commands ]
#6 Line (Fig.3):
The line-number is displayed here. And the line-number with caret is displayed in reverse video.
And, caret can be set by clicking an arbitrary line-number.

#7 Return (fig.3):
When the command is transmitted, the return value from the player is displayed in each line.

#8 "Play/Pause" (Fig.3):
By clicking while stopping, the commands are executed from the line of the caret.
And, when clicking while executing, the execution is stopped temporarily.

#9 "Step"(Fig.3):
The command of the caret is executed, and the caret goes to the next line.

#10 "Stop"(Fig.3):
By clicking while executing, the execution is stopped and caret is reset.

#11 "Repeat"(Fig.3):
The command executing is repeated if the check is in the check box.


[ Command List ]
By clicking "Command List" button (Fig.3-#12), the command list (Fig.4) is displayed.

#1 Command List (fig.4):
Command List is displayed here. Double click to copy selected command and paste it to the Command Send Monitor.
The columns of "Video", "VR", "CD" and "VCD" mean if the command supports each disc format.

#2 Explanation (fig.4):
The explanation of the selected command is displayed.

#3 Command List Selection (fig.4):
The kind of the displayed command can be selected from the following three.
- Player Command List:
Commands which DVD-V8000 corresponds. Ex) "PL", "CO", ...
- DataMan Command List:
Commands which DataManEx handles. Ex) "WAIT", "OPEN", ...
- Sample List:
Samples of using the commands.

#4 "Copy & Paste" (fig.4):
Any selected command can be copied and paste to the Command Send Monitor.
