--- Edit of Weekly-Timer Data (Weekly-Timer Editor) ---

It is possible to upload Weekly-Timer Data from DVD-V8000 to PC and save it,
or to edit the data on DataManEx and download it to DVD-V8000.


[ General Procedure ]
(1) Connecting with DVD-V8000, click "Weekly Timer" button (Fig.2-#5) to display the Weekly-Timer Editor (fig.6).

(2) If necessary, upload weekly-timer data from DVD-V8000 onto PC, or open data file from your PC.
Contents of the weekly-timer data is displayed on the controls (fig.6-#2-#7).

(3) If necessary, edit weekly-timer data.

(4) Download weekly-timer data onto DVD-V8000, or save it on your PC.


[ Edit ]
It is possible to set 24 timer-data.
And, the batch edit can be done by selecting two or more arbitrary data.

#1 Page (fig.6):
The page can be selected. The following datas are displayed on each page.
- page 1 : 1 - 8
- page 2 : 9 - 16
- page 3 : 17 - 24

#2 Day (fig.6):
Select the day of the week when the timer of each data is executed.

#3 On (fig.6):
Input time when the timer of each data is executed.

#4 Off (fig.6):
Input the time when the each timer executing finishes.

#5 Mode (fig.6):
Select the content that the timer of each data executes.

#6 Title/Group (fig.6):
If the "Mode" is "Title/Chapter Search", input title number to play.
Else if the "Mode" is "Stack Execute", input group number of command-stack to excute.

#7 Chapter (fig.6):
If the "Mode" is "Title/Chapter Search", input chapter number to play.


[ Batch Edit ]
The batch edit can be done by selecting two or more arbitrary data.

#8 Select (fig.6):
With the check boxes, select the data which are edited collectively.

#9 Delete (fig.6):
Selected data can be deleted.

#10 All (fig.6):
24 all pieces of Data are selected. If all data are being selected, all the selections are released.

#11 Batch Edit (fig.6):
The dialog box for batch edit (fig.7) can be opened.

#1 Data index (fig.7):
The indices of the data which the batch edit is done are displayed.
To add new data, write the index with 'space' between them.

#2 Day (fig.7):
A day of the week of all selected data will be changed to selected here.
If "Do not change" is selected, a day of the week will not be changed.

#3 Mode of Changing Time (fig.7):
The Mode of execution (end) time change of the timer is selected from the following three kinds.
-Change to:
The changed time is specified directly.
-Shift:
The time is shifted.
-Do not change:
Do not change.

#4 Time (fig.7):
If the mode (#3) is "Change to", the time of all selected data will be changed to inputted time.
Else if the mode is "Shift", the inputted time will be added to the time of the data (note).

(note) With '-', it can be shifted at earlier time.
And, the time after changing has to be within 00:00 - 23:59.



[ Save/Load ]
#12 "Initialize" (fig.6):
All weekly-timer data will be initialized.

#13 "Open file" (fig.6):
Selected weekly-timer data, saved as .wtd format file, can be opened.

#14 "Save" (fig.6):
The weekly-timer data, which is in the PC memory, can be saved as .wtd format file.

#15 "Combine with .set/Update Memory" (fig.6):
If the weekly-timer data was opened alone, "Combine with .set" button is displayed.
Else if it was opened from a memory/setup data, "Update Memory" button is displayed.

- "Combine with .set":
The weekly-timer data can be combined with the selected .set file.

- "Update Memory":
The weekly-timer data, included in memory (or setup) data, can be updated.


[ Upload/Download ]
#16 "Upload" (fig.6):
Weekly-timer data will be uploaded from DVD-V8000 onto PC.

#17 "Download" (fig.6):
Weekly-timer data will be downloaded from PC onto DVD-V8000.

#18 "Connect" (fig.6):
Connect with DVD-V8000.

#19 "Clock Adjust" (fig.6):
The dialog box for clock adjust can be displayed.


[ Time Schedule Viewer ]
Clicking "Schedule Viewer" button (fig.6-#20), the Time Schedule Viewer (fig.8) can be displayed.
The schedule of each day of the week can be checked on the Time Schedule Viewer.

#1 Days of the week (fig.8):
A day of the week to be displayed can be selected by mouse left-clicking or typing the left and right arrow key.
And, the day of the week is displayed in red, if it includes overlapped timers.

#2 Schedule (fig.8):
Schedule of selected day is displayed.
A horizontal axis means time (00:00-24:00), and the numbers of a vertical axis mean indices of data.
The data is displayed in red, if it is overlapping with the others.
An arbitrary data can be selected with the mouse left-click, the wheel or arrow key.

#3 Grid (fig.8):
Select if the grid will be displayed or not.

#4 "Edit" (fig.8):
Go back to the weekly-timer editor (fig.6) to edit selected data.
